IN MY MIND...We have got to win

In 24 hours time we will be battling it out with Chelsea for a vital 3 points. there will be no love lost in this tie made even tastier with the pending debute of Fernando Torres for Chelsea. If we get all three points we could go up to sixth in the league, eventually catch up with Chelsea and pip them for fourth place and put a big old pie in Nando's face. my starting 11 for v Chelsea would be........

Goodbye Fernando Torres

So Fernando has left us.

For once in a transfer window there was no speculation about El Nino. until the very end. I was busy checking twitter for the latest info on Suarez I was eager to see if he would sign, I was literately updating my time-line every few minutes non stop for about a day and then all of a sudden BAM my little world came crumbling in on itself. "Fernando Torres hands in transfer request at Liverpool" the sentence I thought I would never see. At first I didn't believe it, but after a restless night I woke up Saturday morning to find it hadn't been a nightmare it was the ugly truth. I kept waiting and waiting for Nando to come out with a statement just to let us fans know what was happening but nothing not a word. Monday, transfer deadline day and boy was it a big one. Suarez had already been confirmed and Torres looked certain to leave for Chelsea we had to get a replacement in and quick. All day at work I kept SSN on to hear the latest ongoings with the saga but it didn't really all kick in again until about 9 o'clock that evening. There was allot of talk about helicopters on SSN and they new Torres was in one of them, so lets fast forward to 10:55pm (roughly) confirmed Andy Carroll signs for Liverpool!!!!!! Confirmed Fernando Torres signs for Chelsea. the clock hits 11 my heart breaks and the tears are flooding. my hero my idol my number 9 gone in a flash, no goodbye, no thank you just a signature on a bit of paper and a picture in front of some fans with plastic flags. Why Fernando? Why? actually yes he did answer a question on why he joined Chelsea his answer being "eeerrrrrmmmm they are a team that is hard to play against, that motivates me." I'm sorry what? and I'm sorry to say it gets worse. he still hasn't thanked the fans for us all idolising him, he even said it was his destiny to play against us on Sunday.

What I am trying to get at here is Nando owes us. yes he scored allot of fantastic goals for us but he was a god amongst men at Liverpool and he just walked away from us fans without even a wave. you broke allot of hearts Nando and I hate you so much because I loved you so much. I wont ever be able to forgive you.

However you once were my hero and it is very hard for me to dislike you so I will say this only once. Good luck in your life, good luck in your career and i hope you win lots of trophies (with atletico madrid)

GOT AN OLD TORRES SHIRT? GIVE IT TO CHARITY DO NOT BURN IT, IT HAS A LIVERBIRD ON THE FRONT!!!

IN MY MIND...FIFA 11 demo v PES 2011 demo

Ooo.K so after waiting a combined 2hrs for the demos to download Fifa 11 was first. My first impressions were that I was in a very knowing and secure place, by that I mean its the same old Fifa that I'm used to. As I got playing though I became increasingly frustrated that I couldn't score or pass properly. Was it that I have lost my touch? or that it was on a mode too difficult for me? no, no that wasn't the case because after I read the in game instructions properly I realised that Fifa have basicly made it harder to string 4 or 5 passes together. this means if your not skilled on the controller then you gotta get ur practise in! sooooo i did and the last game I played was a 9-0 win over real Madrid.(i was obviously Barca.)

As for PES 2011 I was very excited to see that when the game loads a little green circle spins in the bottom corner!! It was brilliant and then the game started. the players walk out to something that sounds like a Japanese  rock band from the early 90's. I was however very impressed with the passing it was so easy to pass the ball around the whole team and practically walk it into the goal. the actual game play however was very jittery, nowhere near as fluid as Fifa just running with the ball looked so awkward for the players, not a good thing. The thing that worries me most about PES 2011 is that people have been telling me that this year,.....this year Konami have finally made the game they have been trying to make for years. how bad were the other pro evo's???

Obviously for both games the demos will have bits that won't make the final cut but for now IN MY MIND the winner is FIFA 11. Unless that is there is some way of mixing both of the games best bits and creating a super game called FIFA EVOLUTION...............11.

So basicly what I am hoping to do is give my view on things that I have a strong opinion on. Maybe the odd review of something but all your feedback would be much appreciated!!!!
